It was mentioned twice, BUT Facebook's algorithm for who see what sucks, if people don't like/comment/share the post it may stop at a few impressions (or you don't pay for more impressions). Posts with images also perform better as well in this algorithm for some reason. 

We ought to get some graphics or stock art built to use with posts like this as well to help, or at least if we wanted to try and run Facebook ads. (they also don't like ads based on pictures of text too)

Eventually, the streaks find their way into the skies directly over
Naerlan.  By now, word of the light show (and accompanying booms) has
reached every corner of Tharel, and citizens are well-prepared to simply
enjoy the sights and plug their ears before bed.

The shower of stars meanders south, now decorating the skies around
Aliuna.  The occasional stray light occasionally finds its way near
to the ground, filling the air with light and color, and no small
amount of sound.

Tiny flecks of light appeared, one or two streaking quietly across the
night sky every couple of minutes.  As the night went on, they began to
emerge more quickly from the starlit darkness.  Animals throughout the
lands fled to shelter or began to strain at their enclosures.

The air shrieks as a small cluster of the lights shoots low over Tharel.
The points begin to explode overhead, showering brightly-colored sparks
through the air over Terrason and filling the surrounding lands with
their deafening booms.

((OOC: This is a simple search quest, nothing more.  Items are hidden
everywhere, but especially in the indicated area. ))

So that everyone knows what to be looking for, the changes we'll be testing
this weekend adjust the hit rate in melee combat and add a small amount of
damage reduction based on AC. 
We'll toggle on the changes around midnight (server time), and if everything
goes smoothly they'll run through Sunday night.  No copyover is planned.
We want and need as much feedback as possible.  This test is to make sure
the changes work well before they're made permanent, or to figure out what
adjustments still need to be made.  Whether it goes great for you, or you
hit unexpected problems, that's exactly what we need to hear.
Special thanks to Toroid for all his hard work developing and testing this.

Next weekend, the weekend of March 11th, we'll be live testing some changes to
melee combat here on the main game.  We'll be looking for as much player
feedback as possible to make sure it plays as well as it tested.
We'll be running quest and experience favor all weekend.  Damage favor will be
left off (at least at first) to avoid influencing the feedback.

I'd like to apologize for the downtime we experienced yesterday, everything should be back to normal now. 

I'll be kicking off 24 hours of Double QP/XP/Damage as part of this apology :D
