Announcements / Falling Stars

Tiny flecks of light appeared, one or two streaking quietly across the
night sky every couple of minutes.  As the night went on, they began to
emerge more quickly from the starlit darkness.  Animals throughout the
lands fled to shelter or began to strain at their enclosures.

The air shrieks as a small cluster of the lights shoots low over Tharel.
The points begin to explode overhead, showering brightly-colored sparks
through the air over Terrason and filling the surrounding lands with
their deafening booms.

((OOC: This is a simple search quest, nothing more.  Items are hidden
everywhere, but especially in the indicated area. ))

Next weekend, the weekend of March 11th, we'll be live testing some changes to
melee combat here on the main game.  We'll be looking for as much player
feedback as possible to make sure it plays as well as it tested.
We'll be running quest and experience favor all weekend.  Damage favor will be
left off (at least at first) to avoid influencing the feedback.

Announcements / Moving servers

If everything goes according to plan, AU will be moving to its own server Monday Dec 16 sometime after 6pm EST (server time).  The new server can be reached at ( while the server name is being transferred.  The forums have already been relocated there.  You should be redirected automatically.
I don't expect much lag time between shutting down the game on the old server and bringing it up on the new one.

(Sorry for the short notice, things have come together rather quickly)
