January 8, 2007
- Cyclone and divine light damage has been upgraded slightly.
- Spells from the following groups will now do more damage to items based
  on their damage type and the items statistics:
    combat, attack, draconian, weather
- The draconian spells will no longer complete destroy objects unless they
  are sitting on the ground.
- New resistance spells have been added to the enchantment group for mages.
  These spells will aid items in resisting specific damage types. There are
  five new spells, resist acid, resist water, resist lightning, resist sound,
  and resist cold.  Only one resistance flag can be put onto an item.
- Fire proof now provides a fire resistance flag instead of a fire proof flag.

January 15, 2007
- The divinity group has been altered quite a bit. 
  Divine wrath has been fixed so that failed saves do not result in more damage.
  Divine light and death wind have received damage upgrades. Also divine wrath,
  death wind and divine light all get better with a higher temple rank.
- Mobiles now use mana when they cast spells. 
- Four new rune types have been added.
- Four new runic spells have been added (info runic).
- Four new weapon flags have been added (runeblade).
- Pets should no longer hunt former targets.
- Attune now gives better value for stored runes.

January 23, 2007
- Runecut now works with the new rune types.
- The weapon effects have been slightly altered for better overall play.

February 5, 2007
- Level 1 characters can now save if they have 5,000 experience.
- Character using vis can now be seen becoming visible by other characters in
  the same room.
- The order command no longer costs mana for characters below level 6.
- Lore will now reveal general beacon rod target location (Northern, Eastern
  etc) in Tharel.
- Lore will now reveal what area a clan flag when used on a clanflag.
- Mirrors now have a chance of flickering if they have less than 5 charges.
- Characters in an area when it is conquered will now recieve a message.
- Chi now drops to 0 for monks when they die.
- Auction info for iron objects gives a message for characters who are vulnerable 
  to iron.
- Change sex duration has been lowered.
- The iteminfo and petinfo commands have been added for characters to gain more 
  information about the items they are purchasing prior to payment to a shop. These
  two commands are only usable in shops.

February 5, 2007
- The display command has been added to allow characters to show items to other
  characters who are in the same location.

February 14, 2007
- Player owned shops may now be purchased (see help SHOP_PLAYER_OWNED)
- The itemiden and itemlore commands have been added.
- The statcopy command for mobile construction has been added for builders.
- Objects can now be made to load at a lesser rate than before allowing builders to
  construct ultra rare items. (No items currently on AU have this status)

- The list command can now be buffered with scroll.
- A small bug with player shop gold has been fixed (no it did not affect earnings).

- The list command for player shops now combines items that have the same set cost.

- Cartwright's farm has been added to the world of Tharel. Please thank Anaia for her
  fabulous work on this project and thank the editors for their time as well.
  Level range 10-15.

May 26, 2007
- Some spell changes have been made. Most of these changes are not visible yet but some
  messages changes and rank effects may be seen for some cleric spells.
- A small bug with pc shops has been fixed.
- A damage bonus timer similar to the God Favor timer has been added. Enjoy!

May 28, 2007
- 7 new quest items have been added to aid in the use of the tradeskills.
  Please make sure to use multiple keywords to purchase these items as some
  are similar in name to others.
  Syntax: quest buy 'keyword1 keyword2'
- Healing wands should now function properly on stunned individuals.
- Mobiles should now have more realistic stats for all levels.
- Another small pc shop bug has been fixed.

May 30, 2007
- Shopkeepers who sell weapons will now razor sharpen weapons for 1500 gold.
  Use the hone command to access this ability.
- Shopkeepers can now repair items if the item type is listed under the
  shopinfo command. I.e. Felman the armorer can now repair metal armor.
- Prices for repairing items have been cut in half.
- You can now get an exact estimate prior to repairing an item.
  Syntax: fix  estimate (at the correct location of course)

June 2, 2007
- Spectral sword will now work with the new rune types. Additionally the 
  weapon damage for spectral sword has been bumped up some for non flawless
  users and quite a bit for flawless users.
- The master's tools available at the quest master have been improved to
  15 uses and a more favorable effect. No you won't make supreme weapons all
  of the time.

June 16, 2007
- A new informational command called "alignment" is now available for use.
- Areas will now reset not determinate on immortals being present.

July 2, 2007
- Hp/mana/move training now have messages revealing how much is gained.
- Wartalk can now be seen by everyone but only used by characters who
  are pkjoined.
- Cleric spells now have the ability to have alignments assigned to 
  them.  The following spells will have alignments assigned to them
  Demonfire, ray of truth, deathwind, divine wrath dispel evil, 
  dispel good, possibly more in the future.
- Magic specialization is now (mostly) complete. Please be patient as
  the groups and spells are configured for this new code.
- The spell command has been changed to include proficiency level.
- Many of the specialized cleric spells are now based on temple rank
  as well as level and specialization level.

- A small bug with the specialize list command pricing has been fixed.
- Dispel magic should work correctly in battle again.
- Explore area will no longer take into account rooms flagged with the
  no explore flag. 
- A small bug with specialized detect magic was fixed.

- A small bug with the infravision spell and casting limits has been
  fixed.
- A small bug with the info/groups commands and known skills has been
  fixed.
- The specstat command has been added for immortals level 153 and over.

- Runic spells (arcane and spectral sword) now have specializations 
  available for their group.
- Infravision specialized affect now has a new message for casting.
- Higher mana casting costs have been tapered down a bit for specialization
  levels.
- The group (info) command now shows spells not available to classes.
- Specstat has been fixed to work correctly when statting characters and
  their specialized groups.
- A crash bug in char_update function was fixed.
- The resurrect spell has been altered to be affected by temple rank.
- Resurrect zombies now dissipate on death - don't give them gold.
- The automapper now shows a S for Thorlai.

July 10, 2007
- Characters may now go out into the wilderness to chop down trees
  using a lumber axe (available at Arskeni's) to make firewood.
- The whois war channel toggle bug has been fixed.
- Racestat will now list the races, points and size of each pc
  race when no argument is given.
- Pets at clan hall recall spots will now recall to the Temple
  Altar in Naerlan if their master is attacked at the clan hall
  recall and they are present.

July 17, 2007
- School of Faith has been replaced and relocated.
- Characters who now delete with 100 or more hours will not be able to
  recreate with the same name. 
- The groups/info command should now show aligned spells correctly.
- Pets who are incapacitated will no longer move with their owner.
- A small bug with dexterity and attacks has been fixed.
- Cure poison has been fixed to work correctly with and without
  specialized poison effects. This will affect healers as well as
  characters.
- Lore and auction will now show rune information.
- A typo in restoration has been fixed.
- Using the murder command will now make you visible.
- The pluralize utility has been fixed to work correctly for y's.
- Wartalk emsays should be visible to everyone now.
- Earth rune effects on weapons have been adjusted.

July 20, 2007
- Tip of the tick is now editable online by immortals.
- Tip of the tick has a couple of options for usage.
    Syntax: tot 
            tot view - shows all tips
            tot - starts tips of the tick at that number.
- The matchstat command has been added for mob betting quests.
  This command will allow people to see the statistics of 
  mobiles fighting in the same room.
- Cyclone will no longer make multiple corpses against foes
  who are much lower level than the caster.
- Autokills can now only take place in the same room where
  the killer is.
- A bug with casting cost for specialized spells has been fixed.

July 22, 2007
- The who list has been minorly altered.
- A new immortal command called history has been added to track mud statistics.

August 1, 2007
- Specialized effects from spells are no longer gained from objects.  This 
  condition only worked if you had the spell specialized already.
- A small dual wield bug has been fixed.
- Create rose messages should now be correct. 
- Protection good and evil now function correctly as specialized spells.

September 7, 2007
- A small bug with adding affects to objects has been fixed.
- Pets can now be attacked in pk. This code might be a touch
  buggy so please bear with us as we get it right.
- A new sector has been added - Tunnel - it is shown in the
  automap as +
- Some internal Mining guild code has been added including
  room variables, tunneling and material rarity.
- Area data now includes area levels - once the levels for
  all areas are set, the area command will be changing some.
- Newbies who die from poison/plague etc should keep their
  corpses now.
- The pet duplication bug may be fixed (we will see).
- Changing alignments will no longer be quite as expensive.
  Shifting and autoshifting will be free for characters under
  level 15 and 1 wisdom for level 15 and over.
- Bows, crossbows and other missile weapons will be added
  to the mud soon.

September 22, 2007
- Archery is now available as a skill. 
- A new shop has been added in Naerlan on Market Street with
  some basic archery supplies.
- Throwing lag has been reduced. Throwing damage has also
  been changed to be dependent upon size, level, type, 
  skill level and strength.
- Damage for arrows and bolts is not final and will be
  adjusted in the future.
- Clanguards now have a chance to heal their own blindness
  with a potion (nonlootable).
- A few bugs with pets and pk have been fixed. They should
  also work correctly in the arena now.
- Fire shield now works against fire trap.
- Move drain should no longer make people negative move.
- Itemiden should no longer allow people to use it with negative
  mana.

September 23, 2007
- The arrow/bolt crash bug has been fixed.
- The display command will no longer work if you are sleeping or
  your target is sleeping.

- The archery inventory crash bug should be fixed.
