New Changes (January 25, 2001)

- Holy touch usage has been raised to 
  five uses per day.
- The sunburst bug is fixed again (don't
  ask how the same bug can be fixed twice)
- Note listing can now be done in two forms.
  Regular note list and note list expanded
  which will give a listing of Author, To
  and the subject field.
- Bash will now have a chance of knocking
  someone to the ground if they are flying.
- Quicksand has been added as a clan
  spell for Uhrbak.
- Anoint has been added as a clan spell for
  Snowrose.
- Timelapse has been added as a skill for
  Temporis.
- Clans will now be able to guild people from
  other religions if they are compatible
  with their religion.
- Demonform will be added shortly as a clan
  skill for Tzatru 
                      

New Changes (December 31, 2001)

- Minimum hero experience has been raised
  to 2k per level.
- The bug with training hps and being
  at maximum hps has been fixed.
- Maximum mana and hps have been adjusted
  for some classes to better fit the current 
  class situation on the mud.
- Healer levels now count more when
  clan power is calculated.
- The fill bug is fixed so that the
  same container cannot be used to 
  fill itself.
- The bug with upgrade and large numbers
  has been fixed.
- The bug with sheathing noremove weapons
  has been fixed.
- Antipaladins and Palidins will not longer
  be able to use layhands as much as they like
  at hero level.
- Sunburst will no longer throw off pk messages
  for npcs.
- Armageddon and Holy touch have been improved.

New Changes (December 29, 2001)

- A new command racestat has been
  added to aid in choosing a race 
  for alternative characters.
- Gate and beacon rods have changed
  slightly to prevent people from
  setting their rods/gating into
  temples where they do not belong.
- Soon, beacon rods will be unable
  to be set in manor houses that 
  are not owned by the person setting
  the rod.

New Changes (December 1, 2001)
- Catching a fish now shows the weight
  in its short description and the
  weight field is now set.
- Raw food items will now show
  up as (raw) in inventories or
  on the ground. Cooked food items
  will do the same.
- Beacons cannot be set in any clan hall
  but your own.
- The (quiet) flag will now show up
  as (q) in the who list.
- The whittle command now includes an
  option for color.
- Campfires now burn out from lack of
  fuel (instead of decay into dust).
  The bug with campfires going away in
  rooms with fireplaces and making it
  impossible to make a new fire is also
  gone. Campfire feed
- Cooking now has four options, fry, roast,
  boil and barbeque. A skewer (can be 
  purchased from Arskeni) is needed for
  both roasting and barbequeing.
- Spectres will no longer be able to invade
  clan halls or push clan idols.
  
New Changes (November 30, 2001)
- Fishing has been added for all classes.
  - You must have a pole and bait to
    be successfule using this skill.
- Campfire skill has been revised.
  - Wood will now be needed to start
    a fire and can be added to a fire
    to extend its duration. 
  - Fireplaces will be available for purchase 
    in houses, manor houses and clan halls.
- Butcher has been added for all classes.
- Cooking has been added for all classes.
  This skill will be necessary in order
  to cook the fish and steaks gained 
  from butcher and fishing.

- You can send/receive tells asleep now....
- The help system is going to be changed
  The new system is being tested with the command newhelp

  This will show all helps that start with A, and will also show
  a number next to it.  To read the help file.  Type:

New changes (October 15, 2001)
- The IC-General Board is now language based.
  You will be asked when you post there to enter a language.
  Posts in common will be able to be read by all.
- New command emsay
   Read the help file.
- Mobs got a little smarter...
- You can no longer lore while fighting.
- Sheathing/Drawing has less spam
- If you have a held item, it is now removed when you draw
  your dualed weapon.

- The Land of Tharel is now over 8000 rooms.
  Thousands of work hours have gone into
  making this world. Every single builder,
  immortal, and most especially the editors
  should be proud of their hard work. Often
  times the work of the editors goes unnoticed
  and at this time We would like to recognize
  Jirah, Vallien, Sainos, Sylune, Mahxissa,
  Mahrina, Cylad and Elbar for all of their 
  hard work editing areas. Without these 
  individuals our areas would not be what they
  are today. Our world is absolutely 
  outstanding!!!!!!!! A special thanks goes to
  Felicia and all the other mortals that posted
  the area bug and description fixes noticed
  during play. And to all the builders, 
  Thanks for all the time and effort you have
  put into AU!! You guys rock!

New Changes (October 7, 2001)
- Monks can now counter other classes
    The cost of the skill has been raised also
- Blankets have a new flag that will
  let them save over reboots and copyovers.
  This will only work if you DROP THEM.
  Talk to an immortal to get yours fixed.
- Shopkeepers will no longer assist others
    SO NO MORE FREE GOLD!
- Idols can be now be pushed through exits

Changes New Changes  (September 28, 2001)

- Changes have been Added to the Webpage.
- Clan power has been changed to reflect
  upgrades in guards.
- Sheathing and drawing weapons has now 
  been added to the code. These commands
  will effectively sheath your weapon or 
  draw your weapon from its sheath. When
  sheathing your weapon, secondary weapons
  will be removed and put into inventory.
  Each weapon type has a message befitting
  where on your body it is likely to be
  sheathed.
- Two new auto commands are available.
  Autosheath and autodraw. (In the future
  look for the justice system to depend
  on sheathed weapons.)
- The prompt quest prompts have been 
  implemented as options for the prompt
  command. The default prompt when creating
  a new character is included among these
  changes. Please see help prompt for 
  more details.
- Identify has a new look to it. Look for
  lore and auction to have a similar format
  soon.

- Four new areas have been added to 
  the land of Tharel.
  - Uchduruk by Sylune
  - Blackeye's Gypsy Camp by Deago
  - Hythian Forest by the AU-Team
     (special thanks for Mahxissa for
      all of her work on this one)
  - Sildarak's Crypt by Vallien

New Changes  (September 18, 2001)

- Acquisition of the Invader flag by
  trespassing now will require 
  justification.
- Spectral sword has been added for 
  myrmidons.
- Sophism now has access to the clan 
  skill shadowwalk.
  BEWARE!!
- Virtue now has access to the clan
  spell sunburst.

  Note: Be aware that these clan spells 
  are in their initial versions and 
  will likely be changed as the staff
  observes the effect of their addition
  to the mud.

Changes (September 15, 2001)

- Low level monk damage as the result of
  chi has been tweaked slightly.
- The levels that spinkick and sweep have 
  been altered to make sense.
- Metabolize will now only add one haste
  affect.
- Weapon specialization has been added
  for warriors. It is only available during
  creation and existing warriors may not 
  gain it. Weapon specialization gives
  warriors a better chance of their 
  attacks going off, parrying, and getting
  critical hits with their chosen weapon.
- The cost for the Wheel of Fate has gone
  up to 10,000 gold per spin. As a result
  of this increased cost, items now gained
  from the Wheel no longer have a timer 
  set on them when created.
- A couple immortal command bugs have been
  fixed as well.
